We are currently seeking experienced Service Technicians for a role in our Operations Team in Singapore.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role provides support for all MENCK Equipment, primarily in the Subsea, Oil & gas, Offshore Wind and Civil foundations applications, in a combination of workshop and field work. You will provide technical analysis, warranty support and troubleshooting engineering issues. Previous experience in similar Service role and knowledge is essential.

Your Main Tasks:

  • •  Collaboration with the equipment management, project management, engineering, warehouse, logistics and maintenance department at MENCK PTE and GmbH
  • •  Operation of MENCK/LMH/LDD Equipment during onshore and offshore jobs
  • •  Handover and commissioning of MENCK equipment to clients and customers
  • •  To instruct and train clients on the operation and maintenance of MENCK’s equipment
  • •  Preparation of project documentation and reports according to MENCK reporting system
  • •  Responsible to perform all mechanical installation tasks in support of new and existing machinery working from engineering drawings or schematics with minimum supervision particularly the assembly of MENCK/LMH/LDD/CIS Equipment
  • •  Required to troubleshoot machinery (mechanical and electrical) failure or breakdown and to perform remedial action while referring to equipment manuals on site
  • •  Responsible to trip down and report the condition of equipment and advise on spare parts and to rebuild to a higher standard
  • •  Required to liaise regularly with responsible persons of both the Company and Clients of job status
  • •  To communicate regularly to your Manager, Supervisor, Project Manager of work progress updates, including feedback on possible delays or conflict of priorities whether in the workshop or on a job assignment
  • •  Being the representative and interface of MENCK Group whilst on job assignments
  • •  Work all times within the requirements of workplace health and safety legislation
  • •  As required by the needs of the business, carry out any other duties as requested
  • •  Carry out any other reasonable duties consistent with the above as directed from time to time by the Workshop Manager or Head of Operations

Requirements:

  • •  Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • •  Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in related field
  • •  Skilled in handling troubleshooting and repair works
  • •  Basic electrical knowledge to understand wiring diagrams and carry out troubleshooting
  • •  Prior experience with technical service diagnostic software and tools
  • •  Process class 3 driving license
  • •  Customer oriented, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • •  Good written & communication skills
